Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue is a full service fire rescue agency offering: fire suppression, advanced life support, rescue, fire inspection and community education services within our Signature city.
The Department has been internationally accredited through the Center for Public Safety Excellence, since 2005. Accreditation allows our agency to compare our performance to industry best practices and internationally-recognized benchmarks. This information assists us in determining our community risk as well as a process for continuous organizational improvement.
Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue operates out of five fire stations strategically located throughout the City to ensure quick emergency responses. Each station has a fire engine staffed with a minimum of three personnel and a rescue truck (ambulance) staffed with a minimum of two personnel. All emergency response vehicles have at least one paramedic assigned to it.
Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue is a leader in Emergency Medical Services with some of the best cardiac arrest resuscitation rates in the Country. Our agency was the first agency in Palm Beach County to receive the American Heart Association’s Mission Life Line EMS Gold Award.This award is given to Fire and EMS agencies that meet strict guidelines when treating patients suffering a heart attack. Additionally, our agency was the first agency in Palm Beach County to implement a Sepsis Alert Program. This program calls for paramedics to recognize and aggressively treat patients with sepsis in order to decrease the high mortality rates associated with septic shock.
