Give your teen the gift of a positive, rewarding and enlightened experience that they will remember for a lifetime! This award-winning program allows each participant a hands-on experience helping local non-profit agencies with community service projects. Teens will encounter positive, rewarding and enlightened experiences that they will remember for a lifetime! Services could range from helping the homeless, landscaping and park beautification to cleaning the environment, helping the hungry, assisting the blind or helping in an animal shelter. It is highly recommended for each participant to bring sunscreen and a hat, as many projects will be outdoors.

Each day begins and ends at the Burns Road Recreation Center. Upon completion of one week of GGBCSE, selected campers may be eligible to be a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) depending on their performance evaluation. We cannot guarantee space for all campers for a CIT position due to limited space and times. Please verify with your school that community service hours completed during the summer will be accepted towards your school requirements.
