Casey Mitchell, Director of Golf

Casey began playing golf at the age of 8 and started working in the industry at the age of 15 at John Prince Golf Center. She enrolled in the Professional Golf Management program at Florida State and satisfied her internship requirements at The Breakers Ocean Resort and PGA National Resort. She instructed at the John Webster and Golf Digest Academies during this time while also assisting the tournament and outside operations departments with the Optimist International Junior Golf Association tournament, AJGA events, and the PGA Tour’s Honda Classic.

In 2010 Casey accepted an Assistant Professional position at the North Palm Beach Country Club, a Jack Nicklaus Signature course, and filled the role of Director of Golf in 2014. During her eight years at North Palm, she facilitated a $1.5 million renovation of the course and assisted with the planning and development of a new $18 million clubhouse. Growing her passion for the game and junior golf, Casey participated in the SFPGA and PGA Team Golf, Junior League Golf, Chapter Elementary, Chapter University, and Get Golf Ready initiatives. During this time, she obtained her US Kids Instructor certification and a nomination as the SFPGA 2017 Golf Professional of the Year.

Casey is serving her second year as the Jupiter Christian Girls’ Varsity Golf Head Coach and is excited to have joined the Palm Beach Garden’s family in June as the Director of Golf at Sandhill Crane Golf Clubhouse.
