Holiday Gardens Gives Back Community Service Experience

This is an amazing and rewarding opportunity for teens ages 14-17 to give back to our community by volunteering their time and skills for local non-profit agencies. After all, ‘tis the Season for Giving! Participants can earn up to 24 hours of community service toward high school graduation and college applications/scholarships. Hands-on work experience and job skills are also put into practice to help build resumes and promote strong, self-motivated employees.

Holiday Sports Camp

Your kids will stay active in the Holiday Sports full-day camp!  Campers will learn and play a variety of sports and games throughout the week.  Two field trips each week will be made to the Burns Road Recreation Center.

Basketball Camp


Campers will improve their shooting, dribbling, and passing skills.  Moreover, campers will improve their knowledge of the game in a fun and engaging atmosphere.

PBG Predators Soccer Camp


This camp is specifically designed for soccer players, both boys and girls ages 5 to 14 years old, and will include several aspects of technical development including, passing, dribbling and shooting.  Tactical games will be played every day which include small-sided world-cup tournaments and full-sided games to improve players game-decisions and conditioning.

All camp instruction is from professional coaching staff. The curriculum for camp will provide every player with Positive Coaching and a positive experience. The afternoon session is brand new and will have indoor Futsal Soccer!

All players must bring cleats for outdoor soccer and sneakers for indoor soccer in the afternoon. Please wear shinguards and bring water and lunch. Lunch will be in the Recreation Center. 
Organized activities begin at 9am and end at 4pm.

  • Location: Drop-off at Lilac Park, 4175 Lilac Street and Pick-up at Burns Road Recreation Center, 4404 Burns Road. Campers will train outdoors until noon at Lilac Park then walk to the recreation center for lunch and futsal training.
  • Drop-in Res/NR Fees per day: $40/$50 (must be paid at Burns Road Recreation Center before drop-off at Lilac Park)

Canceled Classes


Many classes/programs are canceled due to low enrollment. If you are interested in taking a class that has been canceled, please email the Recreation Division or call 561-630-1100 and put your name on a list to let us know that you are interested in that class. Once we have enough people to hold the class, we will try to restart that class.
