Fiscal Year 2017/2018 Adopted Budget

The City of Palm Beach Gardens presents the Adopted Budget for Fiscal Year 2017/2018

City Council voted in favor of Resolution 41, 2017, on July 13, 2017, adopting a proposed maximum millage rate for fiscal year 2017/2018, setting a date, time, and place of the first public hearing. The tentative operating millage rate was set at 5.55, and the tentative debt service rate was set at .1178, for a total tentative millage of 5.6678, which is less than the current year total rate of 5.6781.  Once this tentative millage is filed with the County Property Appraiser and Tax Collector, these rates can be lowered at the budget hearings, but they cannot be increased.

The first public hearing on the proposed budget was held on September 7, 2017. Click here to view the Budget Hearing Presentation Video. The second and final public hearing on the proposed budget was held on Monday, September 25, 2017.  City Council voted to adopt the budget.
