Requirements for Trash Pickup
Waste Management has requirements for your trash pickup. They may not pick up your bulk trash or vegetative yard waste because it does not meet the correct specifications.
The following list may be reasons your trash has not been picked up:
Loose debris is not bagged, boxed or containerized.
- Household trash is mixed with yard waste.
Materials are not located within six (6) feet of the curb.
Yard waste does not meet collection specifications (materials are greater than 6 feet in length or materials are greater than 50 pounds). If you cut down a tree from your yard you must make arrangements to have the material hauled away
There are also items that will not be collected such as construction debris, land clearing material, automotive or marine components, paints, batteries, oil, propane cylinders, and infectious waste. For disposal of this material, please contact Solid Waste Authority at 561.697.2700 .
