WHAT IS A BUSINESS TAX RECEIPT?
A Business Tax Receipt grants the privilege of engaging in or managing any business, profession, or occupation within the City limits. Business Tax Receipts are valid from October 1 to September 30 of the following year.
BUSINESS TAX RECEIPT SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS
After application is approved:
Business Tax Receipt will be mailed (USPS) within three weeks. Commercial locations may take longer since additional approvals are required.

There are currently 4,000 Business Tax Receipts in Palm Beach Gardens.

Approximately 700 new receipts are issued by the City per year.

Business Tax Receipts generate over $1 million dollars in revenue per year.

Business Tax Receipt fees range from $25 to over $50,000.

Business Tax Receipts has its own professional organization - Florida Association of Business Tax Officials (FABTO.)
