    • City plans at least 5 years ahead and budget funds incrementally to address ongoing maintenance and capital improvements of all its facilities to maintain a safe environment in a cost-effective and proactive manner.
  • City Infrastructure incorporates a 5 Year Maintenance Program
    • Maintenance of each facility is planned and budgeted over a five-year term for replacement of critical operating and structural elements.
  • Economic Development Incentives Program
    • Designed to stimulate the creation of new full-time jobs or keep current employees and employers in the City.
  • A Cost Savings Matrix 
    • Tracks and monitors actual savings each fiscal year as a result of negotiations or value engineering for each City project.
  • Paving Program
    • Street paving improves safety & longevity of streets.
    • Paving program – per IMS report.
  • Transit Oriented Design (TOD) Master Plan
    • Funding provided by a Federal Transit Administration Pilot Planning Grant.  
    • The goal is to identify ways to improve transit-oriented development (TOD) conditions around the planned Tri-Rail station within the City’s core to reflect the character of the City, facilitate future mobility, support system ridership, and enhance the economic sustainability of the area. 
    • Reduces vehicular trips and attract economic development.
  • Action Meeting Minutes – saves on labor from producing verbatim minutes.
  • City Green Market 
    • Supporting locally grown foods and small, family businesses. 
  • Tourism Incentive
    • Parks to host tournaments for tourism.
