FRENZY is just that, continuous feeding and hitting in doubles formation as the pros conduct. Frenzies are very fast paced and only recommended for stronger players (3.5 and above). If more than one court, pros will divide the group according to ability. Great for doubles tactics and fitness!
BUILD UP FRENZY Same as our popular hitting frenzy class but a great place to start for level 3.0 and below.
CARDIO can be a bit more instructional but is still a very active workout. It’s usually limited to one court with 12 players max. Especially recommended for those returning to the game.

FAMILY TENNIS PROGRAM
Join your child in mastering basic beginner tennis skills in a large class setting! USTA curriculum is used. An included youth racquet and age-appropriate balls are given to each player for practice at home. Parents are encouraged to participate but must supply their own equipment. Price is per child. NOTE: This program is supported by a grant from the USTA Florida Foundation.

A Quicker Way to Advance! – Progress will be quicker with youth competitive training 1 to 3 days per week. A dedication to tennis as one’s primary sport is expected. Advanced Beginner Tennis
For players beyond beginner level. Each session will work on fine-tuning basic skills and strokes. Serve and footwork and will be instructed. "Live Ball” rallying between players is introduced.

If you’ve got the basics down but are looking to take those skills to the next level, this is the class for you. Basics are reviewed briefly in each class. In addition, our instructors will work with you to add elements like speed, power, and accuracy to your game. Additional shots are taught, lob, volley, overhead. Instructors will also discuss gameplay strategies like court positioning, shot location, basic tactics, and live ball point play are incorporated.

TENNIS FOR PLAYERS with SPECIAL NEEDS – Volunteers Needed!
The Tennis & Pickleball Center adaptive programs have expanded to provide developmental opportunities for adults and children with disabilities. All of these programs are conducted by professionals with specific training and experience in the field.
This is a friendly, helpful group with a limited number of loaner chairs available. USPTA Pro Jim Tierney, who instructs this program and has 20+ years of wheelchair tennis experience, stated “Wheelchair tennis is about camaraderie and human potential. It is the most gratifying thing that I have ever done.” The first lesson is free of charge.

This program provides an enjoyable monthly occasion for the benefit of community members with special needs. Qualified tennis professionals direct the play – which is adapted to the individual abilities of the participants – helped by enthusiastic volunteers, usually with a one-to-one player-to-volunteer ratio. It is funded by the Frank Family in memory of their daughter/granddaughter/sister, Jamie Alexa. The classes are FREE, but please pre-register at firstname.lastname@example.org.

YOUTH RECREATIONAL TOURNAMENTS
JR REC SINGLES
These are an introduction to match play for young people with developing tennis skills. Players should be able to serve and rally with some consistency and keep score. Entrants are grouped by ability rather than age or gender and are expected to play three rounds, win or lose. A lifetime resource for enjoyment, exercise, and making friends is the goal. Confidence in meeting new opponents is the key to a “tennis welcome” around the world!

ADULT ONE-DAY TOURNAMENTS
TENNIS WITH A LIMITED TIME COMMITMENT - A favorite of skilled players with limited time. People of various levels play, including some very strong competitors. Formats take ability level into account. Tournaments are held as singles and mixed. Singles is usually played as a ladder, with both women and men placed in the continuum according to ability for 3 matches in an abbreviated format. Our one-day mixed doubles tournaments are usually contested in ability-based multi-round compass draws with 3 matches in an abbreviated format.

Women's Weekday (Daytime) Travel Teams
The Tennis & Pickleball Center hosts Palm Beach County Women's Tennis Association (PBCWTA) doubles teams at every level, Open Division and D-1 through D-7, and two A-1 Palm League teams. The team season runs from late September through early May. New players are considered throughout the year, but most particularly in March and April.
The Tennis & Pickleball Center also hosts 10 Men's daytime travel teams.
USTA and Senior Teams
USTA and Senior teams are player-organized and may pay to schedule time as available at the Tennis & Pickleball Center. Call the Tennis & Pickleball Center at 561-630-1180.
Palm Beach Gardens Tennis & Pickleball Center offers annual passports for tennis and fitness. The benefits are:
- 5% discount off the resident rate for all clinics, programs, tournaments and private lessons
- Ball machine rental is $12 (per person, per hour)
- Guest Fee is $9
- Priority court reservation, up to 7 days in advance

BALL MACHINE RENTAL
The ball machine is available for 1-hour rentals at the following rates:
- Passport Holder: $11
- Additional Player Passholder: $7

- Non-Resident: $15
- Additional Player Non-resident: $12
When 2 or more patrons use the machine, an additional player pays the additional player fee. The fee includes court and machine.
