YOUTUBE FOR KIDS

Join us for a FUN 8-session workshop on YouTube. Kids will learn how to create fun YouTube channels and how to use the platform for learning and creativity. YouTube for Kids is a great way to encourage digital entrepreneurship and learn internet safety. Kids will learn how to use their creativity to create channels and videos while fostering a sense of community. This class is a safe way to introduce the platform to kids and show them how to use it in a way that is beneficial to their future.

Karate for Kids

This 45-minute class is designed for younger children to help develop basic karate skills. The focus is on improving balance and coordination while emphasizing self-control, self-discipline, and building self-confidence through development of basic karate techniques.

Karate for Juniors

A 90-minute class designed to help older students develop strong fundamental karate techniques. Self defense and effective karate technique are the main focus of the class with attention given to balance, speed and target awareness.

Canceled Classes

Many classes are canceled due to low enrollment. If you are interested in taking a class that has been canceled, please email the Recreation Department or call 561-630-1100 and put your name on a list to let us know that you are interested in that class. Once we have enough people to hold the class, we will try to restart that class.
