Refund Information
All refunds must be requested in writing at any of our Recreation service desks or through the Refund Request Electronic Form.
Class Cancellation/Refund Policy
Please be advised that refunds are processed when requested, less a $20 transaction fee per class/activity. Should a participant request a refund more than three days prior to the first class, they will receive a full refund less the transaction fee. If the class or program has started and the request for a refund is made before the third meeting of the activity, the refund will be prorated, less the transaction fee. Any request for a refund made after the third class is reviewed and the appropriate refund, if any, is determined by a committee. Refunds will not be given for missed classes unless accompanied by a doctor's note or unless a class is canceled by the Recreation Department.
CAMP CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
Camp cancellations can be processed through your account online at www.pbgrec.com/login. Online cancellations will allow parents/guardians to receive their refund if the camp was originally paid for with a credit card. If you paid with cash (checks not accepted), you should expect a refund check in the mail within 2-3 weeks.
The cancellation policy is as follows:
- More than 48 hours in advance: Receive 90% of the original fees paid.*
- Less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours in advance: Receive 75% of the original fees paid.*
- Less than 24 hours in advance: No refund.*
*If your child cannot attend camp due to a serious injury or illness, a doctor’s note must be immediately sent to ProCare for review. Refunds will not be issued for single-day illnesses.
