The Palm Beach Gardens Aquatic Complex has adopted the National Weather Association’s policy for closing the pool due to thunderstorms, known as the 30/30 rule. This rule states that the facility will remain closed until 30 minutes after the last strike of lightning or until the last rumble of thunder is detected in the area. The facility must be completely clear of all patrons. The policy of Palm Beach Gardens Aquatic Complex states NO REFUNDS will be issued if the facility closes due to inclement weather. If the facility is able to reopen after the storm passes, there is no charge to re-enter the facility. Patrons visiting the pool in the afternoon are encouraged to look in the sky and determine if a storm is nearby. If guests choose to swim, even with the threat of inclement weather, please remember that there are no refunds.
**If the weather does not clear for the facility to re-open by 3:30pm, the Splash Zone and main pool will not reopen for that particular day.
