[ARCHIVED] Palm Beach Gardens Police Department to Host Virtual Accreditation Assessment

CALEA Virtual Assessment November 1 & 2.

Beginning 11/1, a team of assessors from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA) will conduct a virtual assessment of our department's policies, procedures, management, operations and support services. 

A virtual Public Hearing will be held on November 1, 2021, from 3 P.M. to 4 P.M, via ZOOM meeting. Interested agency employees and the public are invited to offer comments by joining the ZOOM meeting via the following link:

In addition to the virtual Public Hearing, there will be a Public Call-In Session on November 2, 2021, between the hours of 1:00 P.M. and 3:00 P.M. The telephone line, (561) 799-4430 provides the caller with direct access to the CALEA assessors.  

Telephone comments are limited to 10 minutes in length and must address the agency's ability to comply with CALEA standards. Those wishing to review the standards may contact the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement, Inc. (CALEA) via their website at
