Due to the potential storm impacts on October 5th and 6th, the City of Palm Beach Gardens reminds residents DO NOT trim trees or conduct yard work that would generate additional debris for placement in the road right-of-way. This debris could become projectiles in the event of high winds.
Additionally, should solid waste collection be cancelled, please do not leave receptacles at the curb. Closely monitor our online resources (website and social media) for any further updates, as they become available.
The Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County dictates landfill closures and Waste Management, as our service provider, will follow their lead regarding suspending any collection days.
***UPDATE (10/5/16 @ 12pm): SWA facilities and operations will be closed Thursday (10/6/16) and Friday (10/7/16). In light of this, no residential or commercial collection for garbage, recyclables and yard waste will occur in the City of Palm Beach Gardens due to this closure. There will be no scheduled makeup day for this missed collection. Regular service will resume on the next collection day, should the SWA facilities be open and available to our hauler, Waste Management.***
