The City of Palm Beach Gardens and Anita Banks Justice for Corey Foundation, Inc. invite you to a very special community event taking place on Saturday, November 19, 2016. Unity Day will be aimed at promoting peace and healing in our community after the tragic shooting of Corey Jones a year ago. A family friendly event aimed at promoting healing and peace for our communities.
Join us on Saturday, November 19th from 1-5 PM for family games, live music performances from area talent including the South Florida All Star Band and a hands-on public art activity & live demonstration by painter Phil Fung. All games and activities are free. Food will be available for purchase in our special marketplace.
Games & activities: Hayrides, DJ Jammin' Jim at the pavilion with hula hoop, jump rope & skip it contests, kids' craft area with take home creations including "buddy beads", Adults vs. Kids tricycle races featuring "impaired" vision goggles for adults, Hoop the Hydrant, Bag the Flame and many, many more.
