The City's annual Arbor Day celebration will be held Friday, January 20 at Lake Catherine Park at 9:30 A.M. Each year, the City plants a new tree in Honor Park. This year's tree is known as the "Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow". Recognizing the importance of trees to quality of life, for the past 16 years, the City, the Palm Beach Gardens Woman's Club and local school children have come together to celebrate Arbor Day on the third Friday of January.
Since 2000, flowering trees from all over the world have been planted at the south end of the Lake Catherine jogging trail. This beautiful part of Palm Beach Gardens is available all year long for residents and visitors to enjoy the multitude of colorful trees in bloom.
