The City of Palm Beach Gardens is now completing its second pass for vegetative debris and has also started citywide collection of construction and demolition (C&D) debris. The first pass for vegetative debris was completed on October 1 with a total of 57,058.35 cubic yards of vegetative debris collected.
The second pass for vegetative debris is anticipated to be completed by Sunday, October 8th. The City has notified its contractor, Waste Management, to resume regular pickup for vegetation, and construction and demolition on Monday, October 9th. The City will continue to supplement the collection of C&D materials through the end of next week with an additional truck to ensure that the needs of residents are met.
As of Thursday, October 5, the City of Palm Beach Gardens has collected a total of 65,808 cubic yards of vegetation and 105 cubic yards of C&D within 23 days.
