Based on information provided to the City by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), installation of the Intelligent Traffic System (ITS) is currently underway by FDOT to better manage the future flow of traffic along the PGA Corridor. This project will link all traffic signals along PGA Boulevard from the intersection of Mirasol Drive/Avenue of the Champions/PGA Boulevard to US Highway 1. During FDOT’s installation process, the timing of the traffic signals has caused congestion at intersections in the City of Palm Beach Gardens.
Please know that City staff is working with Palm Beach County and FDOT to alleviate the situation. In the event the traffic signal is not functioning properly, the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department will be on site to assist FDOT with traffic control.
