The City of Palm Beach Gardens Public Services Division will resume the mosquito spraying program the week of August 31st. Spraying will occur throughout the City over a period of three days, weather permitting. The spraying will take place August 31- September 4, 2020 between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
The City-wide mosquito spraying treatment will utilize the chemical called Duet®, a dual-action adulticide, to combat night and daytime flying mosquitoes. The proven active ingredients being used are prallethrin and sumithrin. The City will also utilize Merus 3.0, containing the active ingredient pyrethrins.
