World Dance Champion and Dancing with the Stars professional Louis van Amstel wants to dance with you as he teaches a Master LaBlast class! Applications Now Available for March Indoor Yard SaleIf you’d like to be a vendor at our next Indoor Yard Sale on Saturday, March 5th at the Burns Road Recreation Center, download or pick up an application, complete it and submit it and pay your fee. Sing Out Classes with Sandi Russell This Premier Vocal Music Program is a series of group singing lessons that will prepare you to sing like a star! In the "Sing Out" program, learn proper singing technique as it applies specifically to performance singing (and, of course, for FUN). Next Level Basketball
Your child will be one step ahead of the rec basketball league competition with instruction from PBG High School’s Boys' Basketball Coach, Drew Quinn. School’s Out DaysThe Burns Road Rec Center is the place to be when school is out. Sign up your K-8th grader for fun activities and entertainment on Monday, January 4th or Monday, January 18th. Pre-K Football ClinicThe environment of this program offers children ages 3-5 a positive experience early in their sports exposure and will help to prepare them to play sports in the future. Tuesdays, January 12-February 16 from 5:30-6:30pm at Mirasol Park. Res/Non-res Fee is $90/$113 for the 6-week session. Sportsmanship, teamwork, and having FUN are stressed. Pre Natal Yoga ClassesThursdays, January 21-February 25, 6-7pm Ages 18+ at Lakeside Center, 10410 N. Military Trail. Learn a multi-faceted approach to exercise that encourages gentle stretching, moderate strengthening postures, relaxation techniques and focused breathing. Benefits include: improved sleep, reduced stress and anxiety, increased strength, flexibility and endurance of muscles for childbirth, and decreased back pain, nausea and shortness of breath. NEW WELLNESS CLASSES!Parent & Preschool YogaSpend quality time together with your 3-5 year old on Tuesdays, January 19-February 23 at 10am enjoying a fun and healthy fitness activity. Parents participate along with their preschoolers, working together as a team or just being silly together. Each week will unfold with new yoga story games and songs, group and partner poses, interesting breathing exercises and magical meditation relaxation cool downs. Mat Pilates for ages 18+ will tone, shape, lengthen and strengthen your entire body. All levels are welcome. Childcare RegistrationOur school will begin taking registrations for the 2016/17 school year on Monday, February 15, 2016. This licensed, state-of-the-art child care facility was established to enhance physical and intellectual development in preschool age children. Teachers use a combination of child-initiated and teacher-directed activities to promote curiosity and learning through fun-filled activities. Our program helps children learn how to use their developing language, thinking and motor skills. Program options vary by age. Two-, three- and five-day options are available, as well as half-day options.
