Stroke Awareness Lunch n' Learn SeminarDid you know that every year more than 795,000 people in the United States have a stroke? About 610,000 of these are first or new strokes. May is National Stroke Awareness month, and we are excited to partner with Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center to bring you an informative and FREE Lunch ‘N Learn presentation on stroke awareness. Dr. Mitesh Patel, board-certified Neurologist, attended the University of Florida and obtained his bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Cell Science. He then decided to pursue further education and attended medical school at the Florida State University. He was immediately drawn towards Neurology due to its intellectually satisfying nature and the opportunity to develop long lasting relationships with patients. He completed his Residency in Neurology and additional Fellowship in Neurophysiology at the University of Florida. Dr. Patel currently practices at Prime Neurology Center of Excellence in Palm Beach Gardens and is on-staff at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center.

Awe in Autism ExpoOn Sunday, April 23, The Gardens GreenMarket, in partnership with the Els for Autism Foundation, hosted the annual Awe in Autism expo, where vendors from local-microbusinesses with autism spectrum disorder sold their hand-made items. City Council declared April as Autism Awareness Month, and presented the proclamation to Dr. Marlene Sotelo, Executive Director of Els for Autism Foundation. The City of Palm Beach Gardens is extremely proud of this partnership, and we cannot wait for next year's expo!

Grand Opening of Main Pool Saturday, May 27 | 11:00am-6:00pm Aquatic Complex, 4404 Burns Rd Get ready to make a splash! We are excited to announce that our cool new pool will be opening Memorial Day weekend! Our new main pool features a zero-depth entry, two new water slides, a two-person rock climbing wall, and additional 5 lanes for lap swimming. Capacity will be limited, admission fee required.
