22nd Annual Daddy Daughter Date Night

There are only a few days left to register for the 22nd Annual Daddy Daughter Date Night! This year's theme is "Bop 'til You Drop", a fun celebration of the 50's where girls ages 4 and up enjoy food, dancing and fun with their dad or special man in their life. Battle for the Brick Pickleball Championships

Pickleball players from all over the county, state, and the country will be battling for the City of Palm Beach Gardens Pickleball Championships.  The sold-out event will feature players of all ages and skill levels, including two of the best Pickleball players in the world, Robert & Jodi Elliott. If you are interested in learning about Pickleball or would like to watch the high-level matches, come out to Lilac Park on the night of Friday, March 3 and the morning/afternoon of Saturday, March 4. GardensArt, a City of Palm Beach Gardens art in public places program, presents “Now and Then”, an exhibition of mixed media paintings by artist Vicki Siegel. The exhibition opens March 6 and runs through April 20, 2017.  Exhibit hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

Camp Gardens 2017 Open Registration

Registration for all Gardens summer camps begins at 8am on Wednesday, March 8. A "Play-Away" payment plan is available. Watch for the Camp Gardens newsletter COMING VERY SOON with a full listing of summer camps for ages 4-17 including sports, aquatics, classic day camp, art/dance/theatre, science and much more. Banner Program

The City of Palm Beach Gardens offers businesses seasonal and annual marketing opportunities with our Banner Program.  Our Summer Banner Program is offered seasonally from March 1st through August 31st.  Banners are hung in the front lobby at Burns Road Recreation Center where they will be viewed by over 2,000 visitors daily. GFWC Palm Beach Gardens Woman's Club

The topic for the March PBG Woman's Club meeting will be “History of the General Federation of Women's Clubs”, with speaker Teddy Hulse, a long-time member and holder of many offices in the GFWC. Goodies will follow her speech. Pickleball Clinics with the Pros

Two of the best Pickleball players in the world, Robert & Jodi Elliott, will be hosting clinics on Thursday, March 2nd at Lilac Park and Burns Road Rec Center! Pickleball enthusiasts of all ages and abilities are invited to take their game to the next level. On-Court Clinics $50: 8:30-10am for Beginner/Intermediate players, 10:30am-Noon for Intermediate/Advanced players, and 5:15-6:45pm for all levels. Strategy Clinic $15: 7:15-8:45pm for all skill levels.  The on-court clinics are limited to small groups, so register today!

ADULT / SENIORS CLUB

Join the 55 and over PBG Adult/Seniors Club for only $25 per year for residents/$50 per year non-residents. Membership includes weekly activities and some special events.

The Palm Beach Gardens Adult/Seniors Club hosted a fantastic and fun Mah Jongg/Canasta Tournament on Tuesday, February 14, with 65 participants!

Gigi Fernandez, WTA Doubles Legend, Master Doubles – March 22-23

Gigi Fernandez, Tennis Hall of Famer, 2-time Olympic gold medalist, and holder of 17 Grand Slam Doubles titles will be sharing her formidable knowledge of doubles at the Tennis Center on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning, March 22-23. Fernandez and her Master Doubles associates will conduct ability-based 1 ½ -hour instructional sessions with a player-to-coach ratio of 4/1. The $130 fee includes instruction, a $25 Tennis Express gift certificate and a goodie bag. Click here for info, schedules and to register and pay.

Adult City Mixed Doubles & Lunch

A player favorite at the Tennis Center, this event features three rounds of paired mixed doubles in ability-based groups, followed by an included pizza lunch. A compass or ladder format is used. Saturday, March 11, 10:45am-3:30pm. Res/NR Fee: $19/$24 per player. Paired entries preferred, but help may be offered for those seeking partners. Activity #132101-3M. Enter online.

Main Pool Opening for the Season

Saturday, March 18 from 11am-5pm marks the first Saturday we are open for the spring! The pool will also be open Monday-Friday, March 20-24 from 12-4pm for Spring Break, and then will be open on Saturdays from 11am-5pm until the summer. View our online aquatics schedule for our current play and lap swim hours. Entry fee: $3.55 Res/$11.15 Non-Res.

Swim Lessons begin March 27 - Register now!

The focus of these American Red Cross programs is to give participants the physical skills and safety knowledge necessary to maximize their enjoyment and safety in the water. Check out our swim lesson webpage for all the details.

American Red Cross Lifeguard Training 

(ages 15 & up)
Need a job? We are hiring lifeguards for the summer and year-round. Take this Lifeguard Training class during the week of Spring Break, March 20-24, where students will learn the skills necessary to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies, then pass the test and become lifeguard certified. After that, you’re ready to apply and interview! Visit our website for all the class details, fees and requirements of this course. (Ages 15 and up may take the class and become certified, but you must be 16 years or older to work as a lifeguard at the City of Palm Beach Gardens Aquatic Complex.) More Information
