Wired!

Ages: 8-13
Saturdays, April 1-22, 10:30am-Noon
Work with wire, beads and other elements to make crafty creations. Many projects will be inspired by ‘Streetwires’, an organization of artisans in Cape Town, South Africa, that create and design unique beaded sculpture. All supplies are included.

Cut-Paper Play!

Ages: 8-10
Mondays, March 27-May 15, 3:45-5:15pm
Explore the awesome medium of paper to make fabulous projects both in 2D and 3D dimensions. As we cut, paste, tear, fold, weave, curl, fringe, loop, staple and paint paper, we can express ourselves and expand our imagination! Weekly creative ‘paper play’ will develop into giant lizards, animal puppets, kaleidoscopes, Chinese lanterns, robots and more. Let’s find out the endless possibilities together! Res/Non-Res. Fee: $105/$131

Artist Studio

Ages: 5-11
Tuesdays, Mar 28-May 16, 4-5pm or 5:15-6:15pm
Young artists will create one-of-a-kind pieces based on great works of art, all while having an awesome time! Mediums explored will include clay, watercolor, paint, pencils, pastels, as well as a wide variety of multimedia elements. All supplies are included.

Art Enrichment

Ages: 3rd-5th graders
Mondays, April 3 - May 22, 6-7:30pm
Students will learn to develop their skills in drawing, painting, and mixed media and acquire some sculptural skills. The class will also help to enhance the necessary skills and understanding needed for students who are interested in auditioning for the Visual Department for BAK Middle School of the Arts. A folder, 11”x14” mixed media pad, ebony pencils and eraser are required.

Clay Time!

Ages: 9-12
Thursdays, March 30-May 18, 4:30-6pm

Kids are full of creative energy. Try this class and find the perfect way to release that talent. Learn hand building and sculpting techniques and spend some time on the pottery wheel with demonstrations and hands-on learning from the instructor. Create works of art for family and friends. Clay and glaze fees are included. Res/Non-Res. Fee: $120/$150
