The last day of The Gardens GreenMarket at its winter location is May 6th, but it's not going away! It becomes The Gardens Summer GreenMarket and moves under the cool breezeway at STORE Self Storage and Wine Storage on May 13th for the summer months.

Memorial Day Ceremony Monday, May 28 | 9am Veterans Plaza Amphitheater, 10500 N Military Trail Join the City of Palm Beach Gardens to pay homage to our nation’s fallen service members with the Fire/Rescue and Police Honor Guards and a wreath ceremony. Music will be provided by the Young Singers of the Palm Beaches, Flower Kingdom is providing the beautiful patriotic wreaths and Florida Power & Light has generously helped support this event through their sponsorship. Download a copy or pick one up at any service desk, as well as many other locations throughout the city. Registration for classes may be done online or in person.

GFWC Palm Beach Gardens Woman's ClubWednesday, May 16 | 6:30pm Lakeside Center, 10410 N. Military Trail Join the GFWC Palm Beach Gardens Woman's Club on Wednesday, May 16th for an interesting program on the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department. There will also be the Installation of New Officers for the coming year and a dinner. This meeting starts at 6:30pm at Lakeside Community Center, 10410 N. Military Trail. Kids, Learn to Make a Fabric CollageAges 7-10 | Tuesday, May 15, 3-4:30pm Limited Enrollment - No Fee! Create and assemble your very own fabric collage based on the theme, "Summertime", at this “Summertime” Fabric Collage-Making Workshop! Inspiration will be gathered while viewing the quilt exhibition currently on display at the Burns Road Recreation Center titled, “Stitched on Cloth”. All supplies are generously provided by artist, Adrienne Yorinks, including some of the artist’s own unique and special fabric designs. Don’t miss this one-time program. Parents are welcome to accompany their children and lend a hand. Enrollment is limited; pre-registration is required, either online or in person.

BINGO Moves to LakesideMonday, May 21st is the last day of the season for BINGO to be at Burns Road Recreation Center. There is NO BINGO on Memorial Day (May 28) and then it moves to the Lakeside Center starting Monday, June 4 for Sizzling Summer BINGO. The fun continues all summer long, so don’t miss out! PHIT America Family Fiesta Saturday, May 5th from 1-3 pm - Parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, children and grandchildren are all invited to the Palm Beach Gardens Tennis Center as the Family Tennis Initiative puts them on the path to family fitness and fun in the “sport of a lifetime.” Beginners, both adult and youth, are encouraged to attend.
Tennis Center Professional Kim Franklin will direct while other members of the Center’s USPTA-certified staff assist. Several courts will be running, with families assigned according to their stage of tennis development. Emphasis will be on enjoyment and the development of basic tennis skills in a family group. Fee is $10 per family, with complimentary food and refreshments provided courtesy of the Tennis Center. Families are asked to pre-enroll by calling 561-775-8277.

PHIT America "WORLD'S LARGEST HITTING FRENZY”! On Thursday, May 10, from 8:30-10:30am, tennis players of a wide variety of abilities (NTRP 2.5 to 4.5) are invited to the Palm Beach Gardens Tennis Center’s “World’s Largest Hitting Frenzy.” Up to 96 players will be accommodated on eight courts. Hitting Frenzy is a program of drills and games conducted to music by Tennis Center professionals on courts with 6-12 players. Properly run with well-matched players, it develops into a “frenzy” of fun and activity. It is the Tennis Center’s most popular activity!
Resident/Non-resident fees are $24/$30 for 2 hours, but shorter sessions may be requested. To assure your spot, sign up and pay in advance at the Tennis Center. For additional information, please call 561-775-8277.

Whether it’s a child’s birthday, little league luncheon, or a corporate function, we have a space for you. Summer Swim TeamSwim team is a great activity for kids ages 4-17 to stay fit and healthy, have fun and make new friends. They don't have to be perfect swimmers to be on the Makos Swim Team; they just need to be able to swim 25 yards and know the basic strokes and then we'll help them practice and get better! The first of 3 summer sessions starts Monday, April 30, but we are always accepting new participants, so please call 561-630-1126 to schedule an appointment for a swim test. More Information

Memorial Day Weekend Hours of OperationHave even more fun during our extended Memorial Day weekend hours at the Aquatic Complex! The Play Pool, which includes slides, diving board and rock climbing wall, and the Splash Zone that has tons of fun for the little ones, will be open Saturday-Monday, May 26-28, from 10am-5pm. Snacks and drinks may be purchased at the Snack Shack or bring your own (no alcohol or glass bottles, please). Admission fees: $3.55 for PBG residents, $11.15 for non-residents. New VPK Class!Riverside Youth Enrichment Center is excited to announce the opening of an additional VPK class! RYEC is a licensed, APPLE accredited child care facility established to enhance physical and intellectual development in pre-school age children. Teachers use a combination of child-initiated and teacher-directed activities to promote curiosity and learning through fun-filled activities. Our program helps children learn how to use their developing language, thinking and motor skills. Participating children must be 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2018.
