"THE OCEAN AS CANVAS” BY CARLY MEJEURThrough October 10 City Hall Lobby, 10500 N. Military Trail Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Artist Reception: Friday, October 4 | 5:30-7:00pm Enjoy this solo exhibition of mixed media on nautical maps by artist, Carly Mejeur. Blessed with a constant source of inspiration from her surroundings and hobbies, Carly strayed from her academic oil paintings of portraits and figures and began experimenting with watercolor and marine life. After an abundance of maps somehow made their way to the Mejeur household from several friends, she took it as a cue to explore the medium. Carly hopes her artwork will bring more awareness to the marine conservation effort of South Florida. More Information on GardensArt Exhibitions
